Hey all, I am getting ready to dive into installing a few electronics in my hybrid and wondering if anyone has done so yet? Today I am going to attempt to instal my Switch-Pros 9100, going to be interesting since the battery is under the rear seat. Question, everything I have seen says DO NOT touch the orange hybrid components, is this for safety (I.e. you won’t get zapped if you touch them for a second) or are they really that dangerous?

The orange harnesses are the high voltage lines. They’re at 288 volts… don’t mess with that stuff if you don’t know the right procedure. You can touch the harness but don’t disconnect anything high voltage.

got everything wired and hooked up without zapping myself. Once my bumper shows up and I run wire for lights/ accessories I’ll tidy it up

It's been a few months since last activity on this thread. I'm looking to do a switch panel to hook up some lights. Are there any power kits available for the Hybrids now?

All the normal ones work, you just need to instal and route the wires for the battery in the back seat
