I'm curious, does anyone know if the I-Force Max Hood badge can be removed easily? Or what it's held on by, just 2 sided tape? Clips, or screws? Opening the hood you don't see much

Only asking as I'll be fully wrapping the hood, and I was asked if the hood badge could be removed.

Dental floss should make quick work of it, as long as there aren't any locating pins on the backside.

I want to remove it also, I was told that they are clips so holes. But haven’t try to remove them yet. Please let me know if you try it.

This isn’t the 80s, or a Chevy. Double side tape, dental floss or fishing line to get it off and wd40 to clean up the cling-ons

I feel like dingleberries gives you a false hope of actually falling off. Cling-ons is a definite battle

It also states that it's applied with double-sided tape which makes you wonder if it's both. I would love to know as well since I despise the gloss black that mine has, it reflects the sun in a BAAD way! I may just HyperDip mine right on the truck and see how it looks.

That is some precise cutting action you did there. How the heck did you tape the small little gaps?

I just sprayed the whole insert part black, then hit it with glossifier. No way I could have taped off just the letters!

    Oh haha!
Do you know if the chrome trim is easily removable if you take out the hood badge?

Has anyone noticed the tape on the bottom inside corner is starting to come off with badge. It still has the bolt so not worried other than rain getting under easier. Anyone replace the tape? It gets 100 degrees in SC so it started to come off from heat. Seems the badge does not want to sit flat on the inside corner.

Update. I got mine replaced by dealership because the tape lifted and was under warranty. The new ones do not stick anymore and just have the single sided lining. Makes them easy to take off and clean. There was a high spot on left one and could see white clip was not going in. On the close up there was a plastic high spot on the drive side that was not on the passenger side. I had to saw down so it would lay flat like the right side did. Maybe because they just updated with an October production date.
