It is with a heavy heart I come to you today.
I am distressed, distraught and completely beside myself with angst. I don't know if I can go on.

My radio volume knob is loose.
It has not completely failed, but I'm sure it will soon.

I'm sure my resale was completely in the toilet to begin with, but now.....this.
12,743 miles without a single issue. Until now. It can only mean the end is near.

    My spirit is broken.
    I'm looking at Rams.

    Pray for me brothers.

Just having a bit of fun.

Well you guys made me laugh…thanks for the post.

Incidentally my Radio knob came off about 4 weeks ago…been too busy to take it to the dealer but figured out creative work arounds until I can (“Hey Toyota” does a lot of things I have discovered).

Mine's still working, sort of. I have to treat it like it's made of thin glass that could shatter at any moment.

This is after a year of treating it like the cheap plastic that it is.
I KNEW it could break, so I was careful with it, and it broke anyway. :annoyed:

I'm probably just going straight to the aftermarket solution.

Don't panic folks, I have it on good authority from top engineering people inside Toyota, (Thank you Sheldon) that this problem only affects a small number of Tundras.

They have isolated it to any that were painted Blueprint and live in MN and adjacent states (Canada included).

    Nitrogen filled tires!
I hate it when a knob falls off, or for even having a failing knob for that matter. I'm gonna never touch my knob and hope it never falls off. On the other hand, if my wife touches my knob she knows the consequences. Just saying.

I'm sure this is the root of the problem.
Gen 3 owners touch their knobs too much.

In Minnesota, it's illegal to touch your knob while driving.

Do you have to sign a consent at the dealer that their technician can touch your knob for performing, uhm, a warranty knob job?

Funny you went there - my son's club team is the Regulators and WarrenG was in Vegas when we were there for a tournament in April. Coach's wife threw a jersey they made for Warren on the stage with a note and picture of the team - Warren posted this yesterday -
