I mouse proofed under my windshield cowl and sure and shoot lost one of the nuts from my windshield wiper. Can anyone tell me what size they are? It is a black acorn type nut but I am not too concerned with it matching. I found them on Toyota parts but I would rather just puck one up at my local hardware store for $0.30

Couldn't you just pull the one you have and take to the hardware store to see what the threads are?

    Alleged OEM for $10

    Twice that for Sparks..
You'd think they could wrap it in a napkin, stick it in an envelope, and mail it, first class, for $2

That would make too much sense as well as being too much effort....

Maybe he is afraid of losing that one if he took it off again..

I'd bet $20 I have a nut that would fit on my box full of spare screws, nuts, and bolts..:eek2::D

Same here but it seems like every time I need one I don't have the right one. I told my neighbor the other day that I wish I had a nickle for every nut, bolt, and washer that I will never use.

I used the one I have to push both wipers on the splines and the wipers both work. I am being really lazy and hoping to walk into the HW store and pick out the right size. I used to have several loose nuts in cans and containers but I slimmed down on them since I moved.
