I love that the whole rear window rolls down on my Crewmax...

Don’t forget to roll up the window and do a brake check while she’s back there

It will be peace and quiet after that

My power rear window claimed its first death by guillotine victim last week. My favorite medium action, made in the USA graphite Pro Advantage 6'6" fishing rod quickly became a 6"2" fishing rod. Shoulda stayed with the Ugly Stick.:annoyed:

But most importantly, do not roll it down after a rain storm or a heavy dew morning until you done about 5 miles of driving. Or you will get an interior shower, gets me every time..

When I was test driving mine the salesman had stuck the dealer tag inside the rear window. During my drive I lower the window while looking in the rear view mirror to watch it go down which was a good thing as I also saw the dealer tag flying out. Luckily didn’t hit another vehicle and after a U turn retrieved it along side the road.

After riding around with my two golden retrievers, I open all windows, including the sunroof and the back window. For a while it seems like it's snowing dog hair. But after a few minutes a large majority of the dog hair has been sucked out.

What kind of hinged lid cargo carrier/shell do you have in/on your truck?

It's some elcheapo Swiss Cargo box I bought years ago to even further reduce the brick-like aerodynamics of a Honda Element. I spent this afternoon changing the lock out to a garage door type T handle.

I was at Lowes yesterday loading a couple sticks of baseboard in my long bed. As I popped the tailgate closed and turned around I caught the glance-of-regret of a man who was loading a bunch of lumber through the back window of his Ford F-250 CCRB.

This story brought to you by the long-bed don’t-need-rear-window-to-roll-down club.

But seriously love that my 4Runner rear window rolls down!
