    Hello everyone,

The internet is lacking with pictures of people’s icon AAL.

Can someone please post pictures of yours? I have a feeling mine is installed incorrectly but just want to make sure.

I do not have the overload in.
It’s also ridiculously squeaky no matter what I do. It is also not aligned straight any more.

It does however perform very well off road.

    I’ll post better pictures tomorrow.

But as you can see I only have 4 leafs installed...

Should be 700. But my issue is the leaf pack not the front springs.

Yes but the 700lb spring should only be at 1” of thread. That’s why your front is that high.

Do you have input on the rear leaf pack?

How thick is the overload leaf that you removed? I don’t remember, it’s been a long time since I threw mine in the trash. Your going to loose minimum that much in height. From the looks of the pics the leafs are installed correctly. My old Icon AAL would make noise in the area shown below from metal to metal contact. Also make sure all of the isolator pads are installed between the leafs.

Stock shackles. Was thinking of doing that just wanted to see what everyone else’s Icon AALs look like and their input.

The only proof on this is a install guide for the first gen and in those pictures I count 6 leafs. I have 4...

That picture you posted is of the RXT pack, completely different than what you have installed. With the expansion pack you only reuse the main and overload. In your situation just the main.

The expansion pack should have the factory overload in there. That is what maintains the factory payload and towing capacity. The Icon expansion pack replaces everything between the overload leaf and the main leaf. If you have removed the overload, you will net 1" of lift and are more likely to sag the pack out due to the pressure right in the center.

I would put your overload back on it would most likely level you to a point of being slightly high in the front. It will look much better IMO. Had this setup on my Tacoma and most likely will head the same route with my tundra.

This was all the info on any icon leafs. Lol.

You guys def answered my questions. Will add the overload. Any issues if I did that with a 1.5 to 2 inch shackle?

They have install instructions posted on their website and they usually come in the box with the expansion pack.

The shackle was lift it an additional 1.5-2.0 over what you have, so it would give you a huge rack. Plus the shocks you have on there will be riding at full extension with the shackle which would be a horrible ride.
