Anyone running an Icon suspension kit? If so, which stage? Did you notice improvement in your trucks ride, especially on the road?(I already understand height and tire size/type play a role) Advantages to the system? Disadvantages?

They are pricey but seem to get good reviews.

    Thoughts on Icon?

I have icon and like it. Also had it on my 2010 which led me to go with them again. Prices are same as others and customer service has been good. They will not improve on road ride quality.

Search google for progressive vs digressive shocks. Icon is digressive so they are rough on road but can take big bumps better.

Honestly, pick your color and see who has what you want in stock. Camburg, Fox, King, Icon, ADS, etc. All make similar products for whichever direction you're going.

I personally am running Camburg/SAW's up front with an Icon RXT leaf pack/resi's in the back. Works perfectly for what I want.

Unless you live in the salt belt, then talk to those guys as some have better coatings for road corrosion.

I think icon is just more convenience, cause they have uca, add a leaf, whole leaf pack...etc
I went with Fox 2.0 cause they have it in stock and I got it in 3 days.

I've read that Icon doesn't lift the amount advertised leaving ppl with unwanted rakes. Also, alignment issues can prevail... a simple search will provide you with various problems.

There are also ppl who swear by Icon. I am a Fox guy myself.

Leaking shocks, alignment problems, premature failures, terrible customer service, the list goes on and on. Do some research you’ll see. Before icon was named icon they were another name and had the same problems different name same bs no thx

Im going to discuss with the shop who will be doing the install and get their opinion as well. Trying to gather as much information as I can before making final purchase. Bottom line is I have to replace what I have and I am sure any kit I install will perform better than the pro comp spacers Ive been running for 60K miles. Im currently at 123K.

What’s the goal with the rig? How do you use it? A total chaos kit would probably be plenty for you.

3" of lift. Better ride quality. complex huh?

Ive been looking at BDS and Icon stage 2. If I go with Icon, there is no reason to go higher than stage 2 for my needs.

Now if I go with ICON I cant update my profile. haha.

I am going to demand no rake from the shop. I have to have a level truck. I'll let you know what they say when I talk to them about it.
