I chisel and hammer was effective for me. It popped off pretty easily.

Wire brush on the end of an electric drill or similar rotary device.

It will clean up pretty easily.

You could also media blast it, but you are more likely have wire brush and an electric drill as compared to a sand blaster.

Place the Torx bit as far in as you can, then whack it with a hammer. Remove bit then clean out the debris with a pick till clean.

Definitely made quick work on the head. At least now I can clearly see what I have to scrape out.

Was that with a wire brush? I'm going to swap out my bed tie downs this weekend when the storm is gone.

I just tapped the Torx bit in with a mini sledge and pulled them all for a Decked install. Easy peasy.

“Pinch” the head of the bolt/torx with a set of pliers and the liner will come right off. Worked like a charm for installing the Decked system.

I was going to say the same thing, a pair of channel locks will either pop the bedliner right off of that torx head or enable you to spin it out the old-fashioned way, Lefty loosy
