    Hello,

I'm looking for some assistance. I just purchased a 2022 tundra double cab. I'm looking to install HS10 kicker hideaway sub and amp. I'm looking to tap into speaker wires from the amp. When I lift the plastic piece from the floor the wires are taped together tightly. I don't want to cut anything until I am sure. Does anyone know about installing systems specifically for the new 2022 tundra. I basically need to know how to tap into the speakers which colors is for driver and passenger. And also where to connect the red power wire? My plan is to set the amp to HI and DC and not connect the remote so the amp will get signal from the speakers. I hope this post makes sense looking for some help. Thanks

The power wire would generally go directly to the battery, and through an included fuse. I wouldn't try to splice it into any other power source, the amp draw may cause you problems. I haven't seen a wiring diagram for the speakers, but I think you may have some luck looking at ********* videos on youtube. They had a few videos on their installation of their kit, which may be useful.

Edit: the youtube channel must be in bad standing with this forum?

If the content is from a vendor that starts with a "T", ends with an "S", and has a "ACO TUNE" in the middle...they're pretty much persona non grata here on the forums. It seems they've burned too many forum members over the years with poor customer service and overpriced, low quality, repackaged products from overseas. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I have no experience with them. Just helping to explain why the content is blocked.

Yeah that would be them. Not affiliated with them, just stumbled across their channel when I was scouring the dark corners of the internet for Tundra videos while impatiently waiting for mine to arrive.

Thanks and all the videos I researched on YouTube regarding 22 tundra just shows taco tunes systems. Their systems are plug and play install. I just need to know when I cut the tape to expose the factory wired I'm between the floorboard. Which factory wire color is driver and same fir passenger. My sub and amp did come with red power wire with fuse so I'll route that through the front and to the battery.

I am trying to find this same info out. Need to know rear door left and right 6.5" speaker wire color. You have any success with this?

I asked this elsewhere a while ago when I first got my 22, but are there any other plug and play A+ systems out there? I can do a decent amount of basic work, but I don't want it taking more than a day or two of a weekend given kids, life, wife, etc. Happy to pay for something solid even though the upgraded JBL isn't as bad as years past. Thanks!

From what I hear, OEM Audio Plus has a pretty solid reputation. They do a lot of systems for Tacomas, Tundras, & 4Runners, etc. I don't know if they've released an audio package for the 22 yet, but it's worth reaching out to them.

HS10 are extremely underpowered for a crew cab truck imo..

I just added the HS10 to my 19 Pro. I already changed out the head unit to Pioneer and all speakers were changed too. The HS10 is not gonna rattle your rearview mirror but it fills in the lows that were missing really well. As far as tapping into the rear speakers. The rear speakers have black and red connected to them. I couldnt find the correct ones in the wire bundle under the floor panels so i then went to the b pillar. Still no luck. Then there is a harness in the middle of the rear door. I was able to trace the speaker wires to that and they changed wire color on the outlet side of the harness to pink and pink/ green tracer. Keep in mind I have a 2019. If you got the sub from Crutchfield they are great with tech support
