Is there a price difference between having a sr5 4wd double cab tundra and a sr5 4wd trd pro when it comes to insurance? If so, which is more to insure?

The Pro will be more expensive.

Mine shows Sr5/Limited/TRD Pro. I think they lump them all together, I'm with USAA

weird. Wonder if two different vin numbers would change the cost.

Ok, well my tuck got stole and totalled, and my insurance tried to price the truck as a trd pro, but the replacement parts as a base model. Needless to say I was pissed. And then they had the nerve to say.. "Oh we're so glad you caught that"... like hell you are.

Even more depressing is your premium. I pay more than that on a 2007 Lexus IS350

Right? Just looked up mine. 662 and 560 for my two vehicles. No tickets since 1995 or accidents. Colorado is getting out of control.

On a side note...forgot how beautiful Washington is. Spent last week up there. Weather was amazing and out on the water....

Check with your insurance and follow up with us please. I would like to know if the insurance is different cost. I would have to assume so since a price difference ranges pretty good on the Pro's.

Insurance has probably tripled in the past 5 years. My corvette was 300 every 6 months. The hail and housing rush has really done a number on CO. My home insurance in 5 years has gone from 129.00 per month to almost 400.00. I'm sure that will go up since I just had a 120K dollar hail claim. Most of my neighbors had more if not double that. We are the beverly hillbillies out where I live...

Our insurance keeps going up due to "statewide increases" but I don't think there's any difference between the Pro and SR5 rates. We are currently paying $175/mo for both Toyota vehicles full coverage. Our homeowners also went up by about $500.

I'll definitely call first thing Monday and keep everyone posted. My truck was stolen, taken on a high speed chase, and totalled, and they act like I stole it. I have a set of 5k dollar rims and tires on my truck and they said I have to put stock rims back on before I can have mine back. So I said fair enough. I'm going to take mine off and leave theirs in the bed of the truck. My labor rate is 125.00 an hour if they want me to put them on.

Oh man. Sorry that happened. I just had a vehicle totaled out by hail and replacing it has been a chore. That's for sure. We were in Denver all day yesterday in 97* heat kicking our own asses.

My kids would disagree with us though Zach. I just shake my head and say "well sorry you feel that way. Enjoy the hot tub..."

Some days I could soccer punt my kids. They have no idea...

Dude, we were literally just having this discussion this morning. We went out to breakfast then hit the local farmer's market, of course the kids (7&9) wanted some little trinket shit there. We said nope, you don't need to buy something every place you go. Had a big discussion on savings and the difference between want and need on the way home.

After thinking on when I was mowing the yard, they only know what they see and have. It's our job to break it down in a way where they can understand.
I asked my wife to find a video on poverty in America that we can watch tonight.
    We'll see. :monocle:
