Interior Mods?

New to this forum. Wondering if people have modified their interior. There are lots of little cubby holes to put small things in with the stock set up, but my wife has issue with where to put here purse when she rides. Has anybody modified the center counsel? I wouldn't mind removing mine to create a gap between the seats. I find the center arm rest too high and some what uncomfortable as well.

 

Im following because I would also like to know what others are doing. The main thing im looking for is improved interior lighting (not glow lighting). Eventually I would like to replace the tan headliner with black also, but im waiting to see if I can do light improvement mods as well.
