Not sure if this is the most relevant location for this, but received and installed my Ram 18” mount in the Tundra this afternoon.

I love the placement of it and where the iPad sits, but I am getting a bit of wiggle just simply due to the length of the mount from the mounting location on the seat bolt.

I am trying to see if anyone has some sleek ideas for giving this some more rigidity. I was thinking some kind of pipe clamp/conduit clamp with some kind of self tapping screw or some Velcro on the side of the center console and then a piece around the mount tube and bring it back to the console.

I’m just searing for some other options that I may not be thinking of.

maybe one of these. if you dont want to screw it into the center console you might be able to get away with using 3M tapes-l300.jpg

The 3M double sided tape is a good call. I’d love to avoid any drilling if possible.

I like the ICS mount but already am down this road. If it really can’t be stabilized I may check that out.

I started with the hondo grarage Vent ring mount but it wasn’t stable enough(due to the Tundra vent ring being inheritently loose from the factory).

I’ll update here once I get the c bracket installed with 3M tape.
