Is any 2018+ tundra had done tint stripe on top of windshield ??

Is any 2018+ tundra owner had done windshield stripe?? We have big sensor thing on windshield besides mirror. I just want to check if you cover the whole sensor with stripe or you just did little stripe without covering it? And also if you have any issues after tint?

 

I did 2 pieces, stopped at the matrix dots on each side. Didn't go near the sensors.

Yes I have 18CM. I do have tint and yes had a issues with it. The dealership had to cut the some of it out. Can’t tell it. It made my radar and braking system goes crazy. I know I know but it has not done it since they fixed it. Really don’t know if the tint caused it or not.

 

I had my whole windshield tinted. I assume they cut around it properly. No issues with the sensors.

 

That’s another way to go but I just want a visor strip. How much is your windows tint and rear tint

 

I had the front 2 and windshield done with ceramic for 220 bucks I think it was.

 

It's snowing so I took these inside, tomorrow I will take a outside picture. From the outside it blends right in and looks good not weird or out of place.

Pics won't show anything because it's almost perfect cuts on mine. It's cut all the way to the edge of the transparent part of the glass where it meets the black coating. Including the dotted area. The detailed cuts were impressive actually. Very straight and followed the curves perfect where transparent meets the black. As long as theyou don't tuck it behind the plastic cover for the camera it should be fine.

 

my entire windshield is tinted and the tint does not cover the bumps it goes right up to them.
@Jim LE 1301 if my cuts looked like that I would be pissed. I would have them fix that.

 

I also tinted windshield strip on my Beast. So basically what he did he did in 2 parts around the sensor.
