Is more rear end "bounce" to be expected after lift?

I'll start off by saying that while I have always liked the look of a lifted truck, I've never actually owned or driven one before. Several weeks ago, my friend and I installed my lift kit and I got new tires installed shortly thereafter. I've also not done much of any suspension work myself on my own vehicles, so I have some paranoia that I did something incorrectly.

I am experiencing what I would call more "bounce" from the rear of the truck when I go over small to moderate bumps while driving. Think of how a diving board at the pool resonates after you jump off of it - that's how I think it feels going over a small bump. I feel the bump and then some more bounce as I move forward. Is this normal or could I have done something not quite correctly? When I got new tires put on, I had the mechanic take a look at the installed lift and he said it all looked good (with the exception of questioning the differential drop).

    Details of the lift:
Toytec/Eibach Stage 1 front coilovers (gave about 2.75" of front lift)
Eibach Pro Sport rear shocks (reused all factory hardware & bushings)
Toytec adjustable rear shackle set at 1.5" of lift (used new shackle hardware but did not remove the factory bushing in the leaf spring)
Tires are 275/70 R 18 Cooper Discover Rugged Treks set at 35 PSI

Between the new E load tires and the shackle lift, I’d expect that

    Congrats on lift, any pics?
I have the complete Toytec Aluma series complete lift kit with no issues... I recently added both Trd Sway bars and makes a Yuuuge difference, especially the get on/off ramps.. A must do mod... Good luck.

I also have the rear sway bar installed.

Here's a pic after the lift was installed:

    She’s a ‘beaut!

And as @ninjajay said above, I’d expect a bounce from those new harder-riding tires and the lift shackles as well.

Thanks guys! It is reassuring that I didn't completely foul up my relatively brand new truck!

And just to add the rear sway bar…

I definitely got a slight more bounce after but only on the rougher roads.

    But exactly what he said^^

Did you torque the shackles with truck on ground/under weight or while in the air? Should be on the ground, tightening them in the air will cause the bushings to bind and give a rougher ride.

I am trying to remember, but I think i torqued them in the air. Is it as easy and loosening and re-torqueing them on the ground now?

Factory bushing in the leaf spring could be an issue too. Might want to replace those with poly bushings for a smoother ride.
