Does anyone know if there is tint/colored glass on the panoramic sunroof? Any idea how dark? What about the rear windows? Are those about 25%? I have not picked up my truck yet but when I do it will be going directly to the tint shop.

While they're both tinted, I would highly recommend ceramic tint on the pano if you live in a hot state. I'm from Texas and I can tell you with blistering certainty, the heat comes through that thing like crazy. It's on my to-do list before summer comes again.

I'll second tinting ALL the glass with ceramic. Huge difference in Temps and glare. And can still see out at night. Best money spent on the truck yet. Factory glass is basically just colored glass. Doesn't do much in terms of reflecting heat. No idea what factory % is.

Im working on a national contract in Canada. Some areas are insanely cold and would like to have a Magnifier to intensify the heat !!! :amen:

When I had my front two windows tinted, they said my back and rear windows were 20% and that's what I went with. I'd say the sunroom is roughy the same or at least it looks that way.

It is tinted in the sense of slightly darker than the windshield, but reflects zero heat! I live in TN, not even that hot compared to many states, and I got baked through the sunroof, right through the pantyhose thickness cloth thing that covers it. I put ceramic tint on mine and it made a huge difference.

I tinted the fronts slightly and had the pano sunroof done in ceramic as well, recommend this 100x. Previous sunroof vehicles I rarely had the sunroof shade open as I don’t like the glare or heat. I got my tundra tinted before I picked it up and only closed the sunroof shade once to try it out, been open ever since. Love it with the tint. And the ceramic is amazing at keeping heat out.

For those who had their sunroof tinted, what % did you go with? I'm thinking I'll go with 20% XR Plus.

If you go with ceramic, the tent % doesn't affect the heat/infrared blocking whether it's 5 or 70. If it's just about you wanting to keep light in or out, then go as dark or light as you want. I personally think 20% for the pano.

Thanks, yes - I know the all ceramic tint blocks heat/IR. I'm just curious what tint percentage people are happy with? I have a 2 year old who loves looking out of the roof. I'd like him to still be able to see out nicely but also not be blinded by sun.

Believe I went with 15% overall and they adjusted/accounted for the factory tint that was already there.

Pictures might help...looking up with pano open, not recommended, but tolerable when it's closed/tinted

I don’t think there is any chance the back windows are 20% from the factory.

I tinted my windows with Xpel Prime XR

    Rear windshield- 20%
All side windows and pano 30%

I’d never not tint a sunroof especially the huge pano, it lets in soooo much light and now all day every day I leave the shade cover open it’s perfect!

Just picked mine up from getting tinted, front sides are 20%, rear side and back windows are 70%, and pano at 55%. All that with Xpel Prime XR Plus ceramic. They also added the windshield sunshade strip on the AS1 line. $835 All legal limits in my state.

I just got quoted $1,450 for XR Plus covering all glass (including full windshield). They do the best work in town but that is $$$.

it is tinted from factory but just with colored glass. I can tell you it gets f*cking hot when the sun beats down in the summer. I had ceramic 50% tint added to get the thermal barrier, not much darker though. Night and day difference.

I paid $450 for front windows ceramic 35% and moonroof ceramic 50%. And I live in a expensive area. Moonroof alone was $300.

Same, I don't recall exact pricing but my moonroof was a nice chunk of the $650- 700 or so I spent. ......well, worth it though!
