To remove old airbags and install new set, what is recommended jack set up.
    1. Is my equipment safe? I have 1 3 ton floor jack; 2 12ton bottle jacks; 2 3ton jack stands (i should probably get 6+ tons tho, eh?)
    2. Ok to lift from rear hitch with floor jack? Assuming I'd want to let the rear axel drop for the install, where should I put remaining jacks?
    3. Should I remove the tire or is easily enough with it still on?

    Thanks

I've never done air bags specifically but assuming it's generally the same process in terms of allowing droop and access as say installing a rear block and new shock. I have always just jacked up 1 side at a time from the frame in front of the wheel. Leaving the tire on. Untill I got enough extension and removed and replaced components an then repeat for the other side. May have to undo the bottom shock bolt to get the axl to drop down far enough. I have used the receiver to lift before but to me it felt sketchy at best.. IMO you would be better off just doing one side at a time.. But it sounds like you have enough gear to get the job done however you choose.. One issue I ran into with a bigger truck is my jack stands were to short for some applications. Had to go buy taller ones..just my 2 cents

Yes - I am realizing that these jacks will allow me a whole additional 3 inches from the ground. lol, good grief. But I like the idea of doing one side at a time - thx!!!

Post a pic of your current airbags, Because you really shouldn't have to jack up anything or remove any tires..

I can’t access the top mounting bracket and there doesn’t seem to be any lag room to put them out easily -

You can try removing the spare tire to give you some more room, but it's not necessary. I installed mine with the spare tire in place and no jacking of the vehicle. It's tight working in there, but removing the rear tires won't give you any extra room either because the top mounting bracket has to be accessed from the inside. Hope that makes sense.

A 24mm ranch and ply bar, put the box end on nut and use ply bar to push I off a frame or strong point

Okay - I’ll try without jacking it up. I also have the daystar cradles but I really can’t imagine having enough room in there to fit them as well. Online videos show so much more clearance than I am seeing with mine.
I know my leaf springs are completely flat and a rear shock is blown; whatever other damage to the susp system, I wouldn’t know (long story - but need to replace the entire susp system; ongoing battle with Toyota dealership and thus, I am doing it myself). I am still researching what parts I need; also can’t get anything quickly where I live, so hoping the airbags can give me some susp support as the rear of the truck bounces like crazy and sounds squeaky af. Anyways, thanks for the advice - I’m a little bitter that it’s so difficult to get advice and parts - I’ll never deal with the Toyota dealership again. Vent over.

If it bounce should do the shocks first, airbag will make it bounce more

Okay. That makes sense - took the weekend off to get something done on it but can’t even find decent shocks unless it’s a weekday - I’ll have to go wait then for parts -
    Thanks again.

6 ton stands, I have the 3's and they just are not tall enough, kinda scary when they are maxed out.

It is not going to drop much with the bags installed. You will need to take the bolt out of the bottom and the nut off the top. Then, if you jack up the body that will give you enough space to pull out the old bag.

Are you changing the bag only or the brackets too? I ask because I think you will have to take the tire off to reach the bolt holding the bottom of the bag if you are going to try and leave the bottom bracket on the spring.

He need to take out the L air fittings, then the 24mm nut on top, the u lots on bottom, he could flatten the air bag to take it out

Ok..Now that you have mentioned you are installing Daystar cradles, Jacking it up is probably needed. I don't know anything about those, good luck though.

daystar cradles are for lifted offroad use with air bags, if the truck is not lifted it don't really need it.
