Truck has 46k miles and paid $33k plus taxes. Guy is trying to sell me a Triton Protect warranty plan 75000 miles/84 month for $2700 that’s built into the monthly payment

    what u guys think??

w $8k deposit ….monthly payment is $505 without warranty….$549 with warranty….& warranty cover transmission, electrical, etc…..but the contract lists a whole slew of things not covered via wear n tear. I don’t even see in black n white what is covered…..only lists what is not covered and I have an issue w that.

    Tastefully enhanced...
Check to see if it has had the Cam Tower Leak addressed or if there are any leaks on the heads through the fender wells...I personally don't think you will need that extended warranty with those low miles...where's the truck originally from? Check for rust if from the lake-states...or the NE...

No it's not worth it; put that money into a CD or something for down the road when the truck needs repairs...

Also, if you're looking for a better response on this, I'd post it in the 2.5 or general thread areas not the 2.5 Pro thread

I would agree... no warranty. Save the $50/month and put it away for future maintenance.. take care of the truck and you shouldn't have any major warranty-level repairs. Great looking truck at what seems to be a great price. Congrats.

I vote no, they are rarely ever worth it.
