KARR Dealer Installed Alarm

I didnt buy my 2016 Tundra 5.7 Limited 4x4 new , I am the 2nd owner.

On the side windows there is a KARR security system sticker, So I assume there is a KARR security system installed. After calling the dealership where the truck was originally purchased and giving them the VIN , they said yes it was installed at the dealership but never activated ( or possibly deactivated if it was activated)
I was told some vehicles (and some dealers) install these KARR security systems , and the dealership will try to sell you the KARR alarm even though its already installed. If you say yes and pay for the alarm, they activate it , and if you say no, the do not activate it , is this true?

Looking inside the fuse access area near my left leg, I can see the additional wires that someone tapped into the original harness using those crimp on connectors, and im not excited about the install work , there is also a valet button that is screwed on to the bottom of the dash area , that i gues does nothing since the system is not activated..

I always assumed this system was working, because when I lock the truck it chirps, and if i open the door without turning it off, the horn will honk etc....

Question, does my truck have a factory basic alarm at the door contacts (wired through dome light) ???
