I leased a 2021 tundra SR5 in 2021 because I wanted the undeniable reliability and quality of the 2.5 gen and 5.7. I leased my vehicle in the hopes of the new gen being all that I hoped it would be. I intended on buying it out at end of lease. With that said I am disappointed with the looks and the mileage. Who besides me intendeds on keepin their 2.5 gen for hopefully a million plus miles or the grave?

Keeping mine. My neighbor is a gsm at a large volume Toyota dealership (I bought my 2019 from him). He is driving a 22 tundra limited at the moment. I simply don’t care for the looks nor the v6 engine. I will be keeping the 19 until the wheels literally fall off

I’m not known for keeping vehicles long. Have literally had hundreds in my time. Get bored get something else. Have 2-3 or 6 at a time when I was young because when you had a bunch something was bound to get you to work. That said I have a 2020 f350 and a 2021 tundra and nothing has piqued my interest even a little. To say I’ll keep them forever is unlikely. But there is not a single vehicle out there I’d rather have right now.

I leased then purchased it later to end all confusion. I decided it was the right truck for me to just keep. I had a 2016 red TDR off-road and like the TRD sport so I went with it

Got a 21 with 9100 miles early December ….knew the original owner…he wanted to try a Duramax 1500…I had already had 3 GM trucks and I told him I needed a forever truck!

20220301_133528.jpgI had a plan to trade for a newer Tundra a few years before I retire. But after seeing the new one's I'll just hang on to my girl a lot longer.

I only paid mine off a year ago so no reason to get rid of it. It doesn't even have 50k miles on it yet.

Besides, I just got the ass groove in the seat how I like it.

2018 here with 130k miles and counting. 12 years 400k plus miles in Tundras and still have fun driving it. Keeping it no question.

Will probably trade my 2019 in 5 ish years for what I am hoping will be a bullet proof Hybrid Tundra. I am fairly certain the bugs will be out making it a good option by then, if not before. But if I end up getting a moderate mileage GX460 to drive more and explore some with, the 2019 Tundra could be here 15-20 years like most of my Toyotas have been.

I will be using mine as a coffin. I put less than 3k miles a year since I drive a company truck during the week. I only drive it on the weekends and change the oil once a year.

If your plan is to keep it forever, you picked the right truck. Love mine. It is the most solid, dependable feeling vehicle I've ever had. And it's paid off. So my only regular expense with it now is just feeding it.

She stays till the estate sale.

Mileage is terrible by modern standards, and a behemoth to park and for tight turns. But, I know she'll run forever, looks cool AF, flies when I floor it, roomiest and most comfortable vehicle I've ever ridden in, and just a monster for utility and fun.

As far as gas, I just fill up, click NO on the 'want receipt?', and mutter to the pump 'No, it'll just make me mad!'
