    Hello all,

Just recently installed the 1057xr with a maestro rr and the tech12volts system (amazing btw, highly recommended).

Everything works except the backup camera. The lines show up when I put it in reverse but no picture. I connected the RCA from the maestro harness to the RCA from the head unit. Anyone have any tips? Thank you.

Got a meter? Sounds like maybe the camera isn't getting power when you put it in reverse.

Not sure if yours is the same but on my '19 I get two sets of lines, one from Toyota and one set from Kenwood... The Toyota are built in, the ones from the HU I can toggle on/off. If you're only getting one set on your screen something is either not connected or not getting power.

Update: Took it to a shop. I missed a harness but I did not see that step on the maestro instructions.

Glad you got it figured out.

That's why I just paid the professionals way too much to do my install, I just don't have the patience or motivation for this stuff anymore. Plus, as I get less motivated and patient, electronics get more complicated.
