    Hi all,
I installed Kenwood DMX1057XR for my 2017 1794 Toyota Tundra. Did not have any issues with the exception of my TPMS and parking sensors not showing up on the unit. Every other thing including fuel tank, speedometer, rear view camera etc works.
After 2 weeks of use, I disconnected my battery head for 30 minutes and on reconnection, the Headunit refused to come on. I have checked all the internal and external fuses on the truck & they are all fine.

I reconnected the factory Headunit and I used it for 2 days and tried the Kenwood again. Did not work. I re-flashed the RR & tried it again, no show. It does not even power on.

I checked the 15A fuse on the back of the head unit & it appears fine. I could not find a reset button.

Any idea on how to reset the Headunit?

The little black plastic piece between the screen and base is in place?

Yes. That is in place. I was using it for 2 weeks. I did not disassemble the unit. Just removed the battery head for 30 mins and it stopped coming on. I’m sure there is a way to do a hard reset of the unit. I just don’t know how.

You probably already saw this video.

I m betting there is a debug menu one can access to reset the unit. I don t see how to access it on this unit though. My excellon headunit has one. I forget what s all on it. I accessed it once to change the background. If it was me I d take it out of the vehicle, and hook it up to a power supply, and try to power it up. If it powers up then it s something to do with how you have it wired to the vehicle.
