Canadian owner here, and I'm not sure if I'm the only one, but I have key FOB low alert on the Toyota App? App is up to date and both batteries in both key FOBs are new.

I have restarted the APP and phone several times, but the App still states the key FOB is low. Both key FOBs are function normally. I also removed one of the batterers to try and isolate if one of the key FOBs is malfunctioning, but the alert is still there.

I've uninstall the App and reinstall to see if that helps, still no-go. Otherwise the App functions normally.

Anyone else? If so, what's the fix?

As always Ryan, appreciate your input!! I know, not the fastest app, but it's been almost 1.5 months now, and still showing low.

    More annoyance than anything really!

Yes, both have updated, in the app. Heck, I had other warnings for 2x recalls and the app updated for those that were completed. I'd say I've had 2 fill-ups since this, I'll call the dealer (doubt they'll be able to help) or call corporate here in Canada.

Just wondering if anyone else has had this issue.

Yea, same here, both fobs are working as intended, no issues. The problem is with the Toyota App that doesn't see the fobs new batteries

personally i only replace the fob battery when the vehicle tells me low fob battery (mid screens usually) and not thru the app.

I’m stilling having an issue with my FOBs that, on occasion, requires me to touch the start button with the Fob to crank the truck. Toyota has approved the dealership to now drive it a week and see if they can duplicate it. Evidently the 5 videos are not proof enough that it’s occurring. They can’t figure it out…

another option is to delete the app, restart the phone and re-install the app. read that somewhere in a post here i think last year.

I’ve been having the same issue for over 5 months now with the app indicating the battery in one of my FOB’s is low. I’ve tested new batteries and tried replacing the batteries, deleting and reloading the app as well as other recommendations. I have found nothing that fixes this so far. Very frustrating!
