Had a little fun with this mod! I am an 80's kid and Knight Rider was one of my favorite TV shows growing up. I always wanted to have Kit and the car. I'm thinking that they should do a remake using a Tundra.

Looks cool. I was a major fan of knight rider as well. Please share the details of this mod.

And add an air bag under your seat and activation button to eject you through the sunroof.

I added shortcuts through my Apple Watch so I can tell it to start, unlock , lock, my Tundra from voice commands.

I like it as well, but don't let the cops catch you with that shit...can't be red or blue....any other color is ok, at least I think that is right for all states. Here in Florida big no no

I was informed that on passenger vehicles, the only forward facing colors allowed are white and amber. Any other color is considered illegal for a vehicle while on the road under normal conditions.

Illegal in my state as well. Then there is the cost, which last time I saw one of those kits it was like a grand. That mod $ is best spent elsewhere IMO. If they were 100 bucks, may be fun to play with, conversation starter. It's a mod ill skip, but if you like it rock on.

Noting special and it was easy. Took an hour or so!

1.) I purchased the knight rider light bar from Amazon
    (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B008BVUCS0?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details%29
2.) removed the hood bulge and then removed the hood bulge insert.
3.) Zip tied the light bar to the hood bulge insert (3 places)
4.) Ran the wires out of the insert through a hole it the back of the insert (that I cut Myself)
5.) Put back together the hood bulge insert and hood bulge.
6.) Fasten the control box for the light bar to one of the vertical members inside the hood with zip ties. (you will see them when you take the hood bulge off)
7.) Ran the positive & negative wires up through the hood until they got to an opening up where the hood attaches to the truck.
8.) Ran the wires down to the battery, attaching them to the side of the engine compartment with zip ties.
9.) connected them to the gang switch mounted on top of my fuse cover.

I agree with you. I have seen those LED Knight Rider Light Bars that cost an arm and a leg. No thanks!

This is bad ass. Watching Night Rider again on Netflix. It's so bad it's just fantastic. Nothing better than that turbo button that can launch K.I.T.T. over any obstacle.
