Well hopefully with any luck someone here can be some help,
Recently bought a 2000 tundra 4x4 in great shape bone stock except for cold air intake and jba short tune headers.
Truck throw po330 code knock sensor. Mechanic replaced sensor with offbrand aftermarket junk, no dice, then he tried oem toyota sensor, still nothin, next he replaced the wiring harness, still shows code. He then talked me into buying a new ecm that too did not solve the problem. Next on the list is check all the wiring.
At this point im baffled, have owned other toyotas and never had any issues that couldnt be figures out quickly. Anyone here have some input? Id love to hear it and will listen to any suggestions
    Thanks in advance

Unfortunately, you are in a bad position. Your mechanic is paid to diagnose and fix the problem the first time. Is is refunding your money for the fake repairs?

    Now, to your point:

    1) Lots of people blow through her with similar problems and we usually never hear back.

    2) Most likely your problem could be a leaky windshield causing corrosion or a bad ground.

    3) Corroded connections might need cleaning. That knock wire seems to be a sensitive area from others experience.

What cold air intake are you using?

On the early years the harness isn't really replaceable. I had to slice in one from the later years that toyota sold me. If you have the time and know how, I'd pull the intake and verify the wiring/ connections.
