Can we or can we not get individual LCA ball joints from the dealer? All my searches for lower ball joints come up with previous generation Tundras.

If not, what's the best replacement LCA ball joint available? Summit racing has AC Delco Silver and 2 versions of the Gold series ball joints. I read Moog are hit and miss.

So, I need guidance on which ball joints I need to replace with. 175k miles, should I just replace the entire LCA assemblies? That would require new cam bolts too.

Correct, this gen doesn't have OEM part numbers for them, just the assembly. I just asked about this myself.

    Unless they're popping, they're fine.

I plan on going with the ACDelco gold myself if the rest of the assembly is still fine when/if I need to swap mine.

Thanks, I'm assuming the difference between these two gold ones is individual ball joint vs the lower bracket assembly with the joint?

The 45D1506 were the ones I was looking at myself. I think the 45D0150 is the upper ball joint.

If you do a site search, I believe these would be OEM. Just a guess. I swapped LCA's at 135k mi.

Searched Beck Arnley and got this stating they're made in Japan.

However, this thread states it's luck of the draw, and that Moog are more consistent (which others say they're not). Ugh

Man, I wish Toyota just offered the LCA ball joints themselves.

I installed a Moog in my '07 a couple weekends ago, posted a short tutorial/tricks thread in the 2G forum, but it's identical in yours.

Ordered Beck Arnley lower control arm ball joints number 101-7653, and they are indeed made in Japan by Sankei 555. Very happy with that, because they're a highly rated manufacturer.

$60 each ball joint is a great value as well.

Shout-out to @B.Ross for the recommendation!

    I went with OEM.

Someone posted a "better than kinfolk deal" link to a Toyota dealer in the South.

    $450ish for the pair.
