Looking for a step by step guide OR a link to a thread on this website to replace rear leaf springs specifically for a Tundra. I've watched a number of step by step guides on how to do the swap on different vehicles and I understand the basics of everything that needs to happen EXCEPT any loosening of brake lines/hoses back there. Specifically interested to know what brake lines or hoses need to be freed up (if any). Just want to be fully prepared before starting the job and want to avoid breaking one of those lines.

Monday night I'm installing Fox 2.5 rear resis and alcan leaf springs back there.

I guess I could create a step by step guide since I did the install myself. I basically strung together instructions piecemeal from youtube videos and threads on here.

Yep. After I jacked the rear off the ground I figured I should probably disconnect those lines as they’d most likely be stretched when dropping the diff/axles

I have done this way to many times. Do one side at a time. Throw a moving blanket on the ground. Jack up truck and put a jack stand under frame in front of each of the spring hangers. Put a jack under one side of the Axle. Pull the rear shackle bolt, pull the front spring bolt. Move jack up and down as needed to alleviate tension on the bolts. Pull four nuts off the u bolts. Pull heavy spring out the rear of truck. Insert new spring and install is reverse. Never have to disconnect anything brake or whatever related. Coach builder/ekstrom design sells a bracket kit to drop the brake lines. You never have to undo anything that will leak.

Your stock exhaust will hit at droop FYI.
