I noticed the driver's side leaf spring has started to rust on my 2018. Should I be concerned? The truck is still under factory warranty but I'm surprised this happened to a truck that has only been driven in Southern California.

The leaf spring is fine, don't worry about it. You have metal scraping against metal in a leaf spring so it would rust a little bit no matter what.

It would bother me too being an '18 but if dealer is too big a hastle or won't do it I'd fix it myself. Just sand the loose stuff off and blast it good with rust-oleoum...

    Function before sparkle.
Canadian Tundras look like that a few weeks in their first winter. Totally fine.

Wire brush that area and hit it with some black rustoleum.

Fluid film. I did the underneath of my truck 3 times. Looks dirty but no rust from driving my truck in SE Pa

Like others said wire brush that area and hit it with some black rustoleum. I had the same issue on my 17 in central Cali about a year and a half ago. Since the touch-up no more has come up.
