    Can someone tell me who makes a quality valve cover gasket for my 2000 Toyota Tundra 4.7

    Toyota... I'd just buy OEM. They aren't that expensive if you buy from Cool Springs or McGeorge.

    re-torque the valve cover bolts before doing anything else.

    It's 20 years old. It's already hardened due to temperature cycle. It my be cracked as well. There are new replacement valve cover gasket for the 4.7 that's already silicone base than rubber. I think Fel-pro is one of them. I do not remember the brand a bought years ago.

    Fel-pro kit comes with plug well seals. May as well replace them too since the VCs are off.

    FYI, part of engine maintenance is once in awhile check all pan bolts, just saying. Maybe that's why I don't have oil leaks on an engine with 355k miles on it.
