I thought the previous owner had something on his hands while driving causing rapid deteriation. Guess it's just a common issue. Would be nice to find a quality cover.

Maybe change it out with a leather wrapped steering wheel from a wrecked limited or order a leather wrapped steering wheel. If I keep this one that's on my list. But heck knowing me I will just get another tundra in a couple years, might as well go limited next time

The owner/s of my Tundra after I'm dead (my kids) could do that if they wanted to. A leather wrapped steering wheel is pretty much last place on my list of things to do with my Tundra. Actually not on any list I have. Never even thought about that.

Mine is Wheelskin (got it from autoanything). 'Threading' is about one-hour job if you take your time. Very easy mod.

    Thanks.

I love it. OEM quality. (Wife has leather from factory, and quality-wise, I don't see any difference.)

In case you haven't noticed, I am partial to red accents, haha.

This could be done in one day but has taken me four. Problems like work ,rain and a root canal slows it down.

Done. Happy with it. It has a couple of problems but I think it is good enough. All of the problems are on the back of the wheel. 20160930_161234.jpg It was a small pain but worth it. Only have 25 dollars in it.

Looks really good Rich. How's it feel? Unfortunately for me, I don't think I can sew for more than 15 minutes, let alone 1-4 days. I think I'm going to buy my daughter a sewing kit and wait til she's ready to do it for me. ;)
