LED light bar install

i just received my LED light bar from Recon. Can anyone tell me where the white wire goes. I’m thinking it’s for the reverse light but the instructions don’t address it. Also wanting to know from someone who has installed one what is the best way to do it. I remember reading something about possibly trimming the top of the black bumper cap. I’d prefer not to do that but it seems like there is not much room between the tailgate and bumper. Thanks in advance!

 

Have a 2018 tundra 1794 crew cab You have to carefully slide it between the tailgate and bumber make sure you check the light works properly

 

Reverse light, I stuck mine in the reverse plug on my rear light.

 

Poheller can you please explain where the reverse plug on the rear light is?

 

Pull the left tail light out. (Housing) strip some insulation off the white wire remove the plug on the reverse plug and replug the lamp with the wire in it.

I understand the white wire based on the previous posts but I have a different wiring question on the same tailgate bar subject.
I’m wondering if anyone knows the tow wiring diagram? I don’t want to plug mine in. I’m hoping to splice into the tow wiring underneath. Thanks for any help.

 

I believe the tow wiring diagram is on the cover of the plug.

 

I definitely see that but am I stupid for needing the color scheme on the wires? I can’t tell which wire connects on the harness. Or is that somewhere in plain sight? LOL I have the 4 and 7 pin package.
Sorry if that’s a dumb question. I’m new to Tundras. Had mine for a couple months.
