Took a chance on these less expensive Molle panels, much less expensive than the “big name” brands. Easy install, rock solid, couldn’t be happier. Link is in video description if ya wanna check them out, definitely worth saving some $!

Killer setup. Found something to ‘save’ money by buying.

Do you have a solar panel to charge those batteries?

BTW, I used your video and discount code for the Carlinkit setup. That works well. I can’t get it to auto connect to my phone’s hotspot though if you have a ‘fix’ for that. Great videos.

I saw the same video and agree those are really nice for the money. I ordered a set but sent them back. Unfortunately they didn’t fit in combination with my Bakflip MX4 tonneau cover. I’ve been thinking about it some more and I may order them again and cut them up to fit since they are so cheap.

Thank you, I appreciate all the support on the channel!

so no solar yet, but it’s in the plans. I have a total of 400ah back there so honestly I never have to worry about running outta juice. lol. I use a Renogy 50A DC to DC charger that tops them off while driving, I have a video on that as well, it works great.

for the Carlinkit, that’s actually an issue with the phone settings. I talk about it in my last video on the Carlinkit UHD, I get asked about that a lot. I did some testing and figured out that it has nothing to do with the box itself, it’s a security feature on the phone’s end. I kinda stumbled on it by accident after all my testing, my laptop won’t even auto connect to my phone hotspot without me manually going into the phone and allowing it, it’s a pain. That’s actually why I just went back to paying for wifi in the truck, Carlinkit auto connects every time and I don’t have to worry about it anymore (I know, first world problems)

yea absolutely, that’s why I didn’t mind chopping that end piece off to work with my Retrax, they’re so inexpensive compared to other brands, but yet they’re great quality.

I don’t see a 6’ bed option. The 5.5 work might work as long as it does not cover the light & distance to wheel well is the same.

Yeah I found the same thing on the Carlinkit autoconnect. It’s the phone. It will auto connect if I have Settings->hotspot open when I start the truck. I was hoping you found a hack as I can’t be expected to take that extra step. The horror.

Nice on the dc to dc charger. I have a 800 watt Renogy setup at a remote camp so I always wonder what folks have going on.

Yea I love that battery setup with the Renogy DC to DC and the inverter. Total game changer for my trips away from home!

if you want me to measure from tailgate to lights/wheel wells for the panels, let me know. Happy to help!

    Hello group,
Looks like they are sold out with no due in date.... But anyway, Will this system not work on 5.5 beds with tri-fold tonneau covers and drop down rails? If so, that's a bummer. This "cheaper" system appears to have a better design & looks. There are cutouts for the bed lights, where other designs cover the lights...
    Just my thoughts...

Hey! Here’s a different brand, but in all honestly they’re basically identical. Don’t see any reason it wouldn’t work with your setup, hope it helps!

Just purchased. We’ll see how the install goes, if at all. Thank you!

Well, no bueno on the Amazon molle bed panels. Will not work with the drop rail system. I tried every-which way, but no-go. The brackets just don't line up. Close to 1" off. Bummer. The search continues for a molle bed panel system that with work with a tonneau cover with drop rails in the 3rd. Gen's. Other that removing the tonneau cover, anyone have other manufacture suggestions? I checked with BuiltRight. No go either.

I've been looking too. I've even been waiting to see if anyone has done any custom stuff that I can copy. No go. I wish someone would make one cause having MOLLE on the side is so helpful.

I already returned my product, but, on second thoughts, maybe there’s a possibility of a spring nut that may work within the drop rail system. Not sure how that’s gonna line up with the corner anchoring bolts though.

I think this is the only brand that has the T brackets like the one you installed. The other ones have different brackets that seems to install behind the rail. Unfortunately, this one is out of stock. The other one that you posted wouldn't work for me unless I remove the retrax pro tonneau cover to get behind the railing, then install it back once the panels are mounted.
Looks good though. I wish they were still available.

I may have found the exact panel on Ebay... I am trying to get a hold of the seller and will report back if I end up buying one.

I just noticed that too... I placed my order yesterday when it showed that he had 5 in stock. I will update here once I hear back from the seller (I sent him a message inquiring about availability).

It looks like it was coming from China... The seller was being a bit weird and asked me to cancel my order twice... Makes me feel that he doesn't have the panels in stock. Oh well. I cancelled the order.
