    Yes, it was as hot as it sounds - reached well over 120 degrees that day! Needless to say, we didn't get out of the car for long.
    I'd be lying if I said I had no worries about the cooling system taking a crap driving up some of the mountain passes that day.

    Just stumbled on a video about "Furnace city" (EDIT: Furnace Creek). Pretty insane heat out there. Hottest ever recorded temp on this planet... 136f if I'm not mistaken.
