Just upgraded tires for my 2022 Tundra SR5. Should I install a leveling kit or lift kit for it?

It’s totally up to you, depends on what you’re looking for and what you want out of the lift.

What size tires? I have 295/70r18 on stock off road suspension with 18x9 +18 wheels rn and leaning towards an icon stage 3 to level the front. I think a level might look more proportionate with my tires being slightly smaller than 35s

Im in the market for new tires and deciding on what size. Have you experienced any rubbing with the 295s?All stock SR5 off road, wheels are also 18x9 +18 offset.

Anybody done a 1” spacer in the front? I want to keep a bit of rake.

I have 295/70r18 Falken Wildpeak AT3W on method 316 18x9 +18, and yes it did rub just a small amount at full lock on the front mud flaps and wheel liner. Easy fix, just remove front mudflaps and poke/drill a hole in your liner to zip tie it to one of the existing holes in the frame. Also, fyi, i dropped about 2mpg with the added weight. Here’s some pics on stock suspension.

I lost 2+ mpg with 275-70-r18 bfg at’s. I think i would want a small lift if i go any bigger.

Hey ranshaw, it looks like +18 sticks out quite a bit. I love those rims. Would zero offset keep the tires from sticking outside the wheelwell? I plan on getting a 1” spacer lift or adjustable 5100’s with your size tires when these tires need replacing.

0 offset is more aggressive and would actually make it stick out more. I believe our stock rims are +60 offset and 7.5” if i remember correctly. Most people do +18 offset for that slight poke for gen 3. If your looking to be more flush, you would probably need a higher offset like +30 to +45. I’d suggest looking at wheel offset calculators and tire sizing calculators online to see how much more new tires/wheels would stick out. Also, take a look at these threads and search for some offsets, wheel size, tire sizes you want.

Also, not sure when the adjustable 5100s will come out for our truck so good luck waiting, i couldnt wait haha. I said i would change tires when the stock wore out, but i ended up doing it within a few months of buying the truck.

Thanks! Thats the info i was looking for. My bfg 275/70 r18 have only 10k on them. So it will be awhile. I’m sure the 5100’s will be out by then.
