Looking for guidance... talked to 2 dealers, 3 par stores and scoured the innerweb for this license plate socket connector. This one got sheered off somehow and nobody has the connector on the right with a couple inches of wire to splice onto the harness... Yota dealer sells connector and two wires to solder and seal you’re self... REALLY???

anyone know where to get one of these? And local picknpull does have either...

Thanks @blackdemon_tt. That’s a lot of connectors. I didn’t see my critter, but I will dig some more.

yes, the celica site theres a vendor that sells a 4$ connector with some wires for over 100$, they brought this site to our attention, so I'm paying it forward. If I come across any I will let you know as well.

There is another one I'm looking for which gives you every connector to your truck or car. I had it saved somewhere, but I can't seem to find it. Once I find it I'll post it up here, in the mean time here is another site.

That is correct about the dealerships. The connector and wires are separate. The wires come with the pins, so you just push them into the connector. Then you have to solder/butt connector/connect (your preferred method) the wires to your existing harness.

    Thanks @blackdemon_tt !

@Roman, thank you, I’m good splicing the wired into the ends on the harness... I just didn’t want to have to get down in the little connector holes to solder the wires is and jack the connector up!!! Lol

thanks guys. First forum experience and it was very helpful!

For those who stumble upon this and need the pigtail coming from the truck to the license plate light adapter for 07-13 and don't want to pay the 80 for the pigtail in the link above. Check out this part from autozone, I just used it and it fits the adapter perfectly and was 33 dollars Screenshot_20210307-101749_Chrome.jpg

Hi @Roman do you know where I can purchase the connector part (female) that the lightbulb fits into? The previous owner pulled them out and just let them hang so the bulb broke inside the connector. I need two of them. The Molex # on the outside is 35341

@Roman yes thank you. I was hoping I could get just the connector but it doesn't appear that is possible. So I'll have to just buy two new housings.

I have those connectors (not Roman). You can't purchase them separately and the whole assemblies are backordered through Toyota.

Can I still order them and just wait for them to be filled?

I know I’m resurrecting an old post here. But that connector that is circled in red in the original post is what I’m looking for and can’t find anywhere other than findpigtails.com which they want crack money. This is the connector that is on the wire originally and it plugs into the bulb harness. Is there an actual OEM part number for that? Mine corroded off and is useless. I bought the new housing which consisted of the lens and the bulb harness. It didn’t come with the connector.

    For context, I have a 2018 Tundra.

    Appreciate any input.

Salvage yard... Celicas may have a similar plug, maybe even a Corolla, Camry and Matrix. Wont fins trucks and SUVs those get picked off in days... I mean LA stripped.
