Wondering what route I should go, I've been looking into the RC 6" with the loaded strut. Wasn't sure what your guys thoughts were. I considered the plain knuckle lift but didn't know how well it'd hold up on alignment/ride comfortability. If anyone has some suggestions on what I should do, let me know.

    Too many, but not enough....
With that high of a lift, pretty much every aspect of the truck is going to take a hit in terms of ride and comfort. You would need a good shop that does lifted trucks for the alignment, places like pep boys would likely do it incorrectly. Are you deadset on that high of a lift?

BDS make a great 7inch life. I have had it on my truck for 25000 miles with no issues.

    Link?

I have a RL 6" kit I massaged into 7.5". Should've listened to everyone who told me to bump it to 8" (buy 8 instead of 6) to begin with. I swapped the spacers for coils not long after the initial install due to ride quality.

What size tire are you trying to run?

If your set on a 6" lift( drop bracket style) spend the extra for full length coils at the least.

New leaf pack for the rear as well.

It'll ride like shit with top hat spacers/ rear blocks/ add a leaf....

    My 2¢

Agreed. Although my kit from RL didn't exactly ride like shit...the upgrade to coils was a noticeable improvement though. If he doesn't offroad much, he won't notice much difference.

Not planning on much off-roading, I use it to pull a boat and the truck sees at most a wee bit of gravel.

12 wides are definitely gonna require some height. 7-9" with trimming.

I should have said "in comparison" to blocks/top hat spacers...

37" Wildpeaks had no clearance problems with my ProComp 6" lift w/ blocks/ spacers( stage1)

Coilovers are a night/ day difference.

Rear end w/ full leafs ( no blocks) feels much more planted, less axle wrap.

<------ 1200 miles since refresh on ProComp 6" with new Vertex shocks,RXT leafs, SPC uca's....

Pavement, graded dirt, easy 2 track.
37's look great with a 6" lift. I'd recommend em'.

From what I've read and heard about ProComp, their 6" lifts are taller than RC and RL. More like 7".

I rubbed plenty with just 6" and 35s.
