I've spent countless sleepless hours trying to read a ton of threads to get my ideal setup, but i just feel like i end up with more questions than answers. I went all out on my 02 Tacoma-2.5" SAW coilovers, OME dakar leafs, toytec boss rear shocks, plate bumpers with winch, weld on sliders, skid plates, 1st gen tundra front brakes, fiberglass fenders, etc, and dont wanna do that, yet. So Here goes...

My 14 crewmax came with a 2" puck spacer up front and I like the height, with stock leafs out back that sits lower than front, do not like. Currently I have 285-65x18, no issues rubbing on full turn. This is a 99% street truck, 1% forest logging roads, so road comfort for the wife and kids is more important than flexing and tucking.

For the rear, I was thinking about icon 51200 expansion pack I picked up locally, in addition to the OME Dakar AAL (I got it, but never installed on my 02 tacoma) to hopefully net me the 1.5-2" with canopy. Unless it would be better to keep one of the factory leaf instead of the new dakar AAL. Eventually I'll get a rear bumper, probably the hooke road, so that may bring it down slightly.

Shocks are still undecided. But steering clear of the 5100s.

For the front, since it's a street truck, I'm torn between the eibach pro truck or bilstein 6112s on the top setting. Unless there is a better riding street shock. May Eventually get a front bumper after the truck is paid off. Probably not with a winch though.

Sorry for the long story. I'd be happy to take any criticism.

From a shocks standpoint the Eibachs or Bilsteins will perform the job that you're asking of them very well. Here's kind of what I tell people when they are on the fence between the two.

Eibach - Going to be a little bit softer of a ride than the Bilstein. They have a threaded collar so they technically can be adjusted while on the vehicle (although we still don't recommend it).

Bilstein - Larger shock body up front so they will be more resistant to fade when pushed. They have a different finish on the new ones so they are more resistant to corrosion than the Eibachs.

As for the AAL situation, am I reading that you're planning on stacking AALs? Or did I just get lost in the sauce?

I suggest you stay away from any of Icons leaf products unless you're ok with squeaks.

Sorry, I get to rambling when left alone with my thoughts. I was thinking about the Icon 3 leaf expansion pack, plus the additional AAL I never put on my tacoma.. if I just run the Icon 3 leaf expansion pack, I was worried about not achieving enough rear lift to justify the work, since my factory leafs are 150k miles old and nearly flat.

I guess the other option was to only remove one middle leaf and hope I don't have too much lift. Hahaha.

My tacoma had total chaos uniball ucas with urethane bushings, plus ome dakar leafs also with urethane bushings. That was a squeaky bish. I used all the recommended grease too.
