    Hi all,
I'm officially taking the step of getting my truck off the ground. I'm wanting to do a little lift to make it a bit more off road capable. I figured you guys are the experts so would love your input/experience!
Below is a list of relevant knowledge:
-Looking to lift 2.5 to 3 inches
-Will eventually have a topper and a storage/camper setup in the bed so will also have additional weight in the back
-Truck has an aftermarket front bumper
-Is used for hauling a horse trailer on occasion so need something that won't cause any trouble there

Budget of around $1300 for the lift so obviously nothing the break the bank (poor college student status over here:help:) getting it lifted at Toytec.

Let me know what you recommend or what your experience's are!!

    Thank you

Oem tonneau, side steps, spray in liner. Trd skidplate.
Bilstein 6112 fronts, 5160 rears, hands down. I do run toytec shackles, but the bisteins are great for the $

I went toytec boss coilovers, I have a fab four bumper at 185lbs plus a 12k winch. I went with their 700lb springs. Truck rides great. Their adjustable. I removed the sway bar, it rides even better, dont even notice it's gone.

Bilsteins, Toytec, BOss4x4. Some good options for you.

Fox 2.0 with CB shims and some 2” shackles.
Here’s mine with fox 2.5s and 2” shackles with a topper I also I have gear to go on top (RTT, awning etc)

Make sure you get at least a 700lb spring tho

OME is a good option to

Hauling heavy stuff I’d put airbags on

I wouldn’t waste my money on bilstien or toytec personally not that they aren’t good or anything just my personal experiences.unless maybe it’s the old pro suspension

They work perfect. I ran a spacer that came with my Procomp for 5 years and then recently came across the Rc 6 inch strut. It definitely improves the ride by getting rid of the spacer.
Here is my old and new.

Looks killer. Would you measure fender to ground for that please? I'm at 47" now, and would like to stay as close to that as possible, but I'd like more to get rid of that spacer.

    I’m no where near 47..
From ground to the fender 45 1/2 , 35 psi
From center of hub to the fender 29 1/2

I can’t go any higher if I wanted to, My roof is already touching the rubber flap on garage entry , Lol

Personally I wouldn't get it done at Toytec. There's probably a local shop that'll do it cheaper and you'll get better customer service as well. Plus you could spend a little more on better components. A lift in that price range is a very straight forward install and there aren't any nuances where you would need someone that has primarily Toyota experience.

Also beware if you buy the lift from Toytec. If something goes wrong you may be up a creek. See my post history.
