Are you wanting a coilover lift or spacer lift? Most people here prefer coilovers to spacers (I have 3” Toytec spacers but they came installed when I bought the truck) but it just depends on your budget and needs.

How much do you want to spend? You can go anywhere from $200 to $5000.
Coilovers are the ideal solution and range from around $850 and up, and up, and up.
Eibach, Toytec, King, Fox, Falcon, Icon, OME, are the common ones, but there are others out there.
You'll see a lot of Icons and Kings around here, and folks seem to really like them.

I’m looking to spend around $1400
I’d like to do coil over. I imagine you end up with better handling etc.
What are the cons of going the spacer route?

I would consider Eibach coilovers stage 2 lift.

In the 1500 range you have some good coil over options from Toytec- their aluma series and also Eibach, then there is Dobinsons, OME.

    Thanks.
New to lifting trucks. So could I use 1” lift blocks for the rear? I hear if you use shackles you have to modify the TRD dual exhaust.

Just ordered! Now just need some rear shackles, and to ditch these 20” wheels and go with some 18’s and decent rubber.

Would you recommend add-a-leaf in addition to the shackles? I’m eyeballing the various options on the Toytec site.

Take a look at the Icon Vehicle Dynamics rear expansion pack. Deaver also makes something similar. Good luck!

I added 1.5" shackles and don't have any issues with my TRD dual exhaust under "normal" driving. However, I don't off-road much and the shackles might make the leafs contact the exhaust pipe at extreme articulation...not sure.

i was once in this boat. I went w something inexpensive. Worked ok, but ultimately upgraded to fox coilover. You really do get what you pay for. My two cents

ebay... I got 2.5s with DSC very easy. You can put alerts and it’ll tell you when they are in stock. You’ll have to jump on it as soon as you get that email. There are a few websites that offer the “alert me when in stock” option.

    Also try https://www.headstrongoffroad.com/s...or_Extended_Travel_-_2007__Toyota_Tundra.html

I got some parts from them.
