I went to inflate my tires by plugging a portable air compressor into the power outlets on the right side of the console, but lost power. Anyone know where the fuse is???
    Thanks!

In the panel in the drivers side of the dash. Should be a 15A labelled “PWR OUTLET”. The 15A “CIG” fuse for the cigarette lighter socket is in there too.

How many amps does your compressor draw?

Thanks, is that panel under the dash, L of the steering wheel? I’ll check when I get home.
It is a small compressor- I plugged it into my Prius to see if the problem is the truck or compressor and it worked fine. D/k the amp draw.

Should be on the placard of the compressor.

Not on the compressor or product manual is the amp draw states...however, not knowing what the fuse codes mean I pulled every fuse under the dash and they were all intact. However, when I started the truck and tested the power outlet there was power and it works fine now. Maybe moving the fuses did the trick?

I've had a similar thing with my '08 - also with a 12v compressor (Viair 85P), a key cycle brought power back to the power outlets. The outlets do stay on for a couple hours after turning the ignition off in both of our trucks (at least my friend's '06 does), so I'm assuming the body controller is part of the circuit and may just be shutting off the circuit when it senses an overload.

Thanks for the help. I did find a blown tail light fuse (I think) under the hood that I will replace tomorrow.
