    Hi everyone,

Do I need, or would it help, if I got limit straps and different bump stops for my truck? Suspension will be front 3", fox 2.5 DSC, rear 1.5" leaf pack with fox 2.5 DSC, on 35's. Truck used sometimes on trips and such but nearly half the miles will be offroad, whether gravel and dirt ranch roads, or crawling around in rough stuff in the desert.

    Thanks!

Also, I'll be driving with spirit on ranch roads, but no plans for jumps or hitting whoops at 100 or anything like that. But do plan to make use of the shocks for fast stuff, and crawling.

If you jump it = tires leaving the ground then straps are a good idea. Hydro bumps are very nice, not much available for the front, but plenty options for rear. I tried various non-hydro bumps, didn’t notice any improvement, just had less $ in my pocket.

I won't be jumping it really. But in the jeep world I used to reside in, we still bought them.

Limit straps? I have bought the hardware, still need to fab some brackets. Limit straps will be going on to avoid blowing up shocks especially on my rear axle. Not because I jump the truck, but because sometimes one cannot see a dip before being right on top of it, especially at night. Then there could also be an instance of needing to avoid a drunk or similar and taking the ditch. In such case I would prefer to come out the other side mostly unscathed. Petty much just saying I like to prevent vs. repair what could have been prevented. Somewhere on this forum I posted a thread on this subject, type limit straps in the search box and you can likely locate it.

Yeah, my thoughts reflect that I need to make the time and get my brackets fabbed up. Won't be long, winter will arrive and my fingers would rather stay inside her at that point. Time goes too fast!!!
