Curious if anyone has part numbers and/or parts diagram of the small center compartment and lid on the ‘22-‘23 Tundra… not sure if the small sliding tray is also on the Platinum trim also. Not a huge fan of that rattling piece. Going to dismantle my console lid and attempt to felt tape the lid release buttons to stop those from rattling around and wanted to install the Platinum center compartment also.. THANKS !!!!

Did you ever get around to trying to fix this? My console tray and buttons rattle like crazy when I hit bumps in the road.

No, I haven’t attempted yet. Probably tear into it this week. Been studying a breakdown of the console lid… I believe I’ll need to pop off the rear passenger cup holder thing at the rear of lid to access some bolts to remove it. Those buttons drive me crazy too !! I find myself driving with my right hand holding the driver side button so I don’t have to hear it rattling. Also that little sliding tray makes noise.

Those noisy unlock buttons are a warranty item?

Oh crap…!! Well I’m not going to that expense nor do I want red or blue stitching…
I am going to try and remedy the rattling release buttons however.

Yes!! I actually went into the dealership for this exact reason today on my 23 platinum. They ordered a new lid and will replace when it gets here. The rattle was from the two large buttons.

My 1794 also has the rattle especially on the drivers side. Does anyone know how to remove the padded armrest on the console? I have removed the two screws underneath but I am having trouble removing the padded part.

Did you end up having the lid replaced? Any button rattle since? Was there a fix applied to the console for the button rattle fix?

I’m having some button rattle as well. Any chance you’ve dug in to this at all?

No I haven’t yet, really haven’t been driving this truck much until very recent.. dealing with a health issue. I’ll be more than likely covering the sides of both release buttons with some adhesive backed thin felt I picked up at Home Depot. I’ll take pics and report back..

I posted my fix before. My console was creaking with my arm resting on it and I simply added a self stick insulating foam under the length of the lid of the console. It slightly lifts the console up making it more stable and completely quiet. Also you can’t really see it unless with the console open. It was very similar to this product here

I am sorry to hear that. Get better!

So far I’m only having some button rattle. No console creak yet!
