Just finished a 200 mile drive across Florida to go on vacation for the weekend. 3 miles from the destination came off a stoplight and the dash lit up. The usual suspects. And entered into limp mode.

    See screenshot below.

Clearing the codes but they come back once the car is restarted.

I'm thinking there may be an electrical problem as I don't think all these codes happening at once.

I am 200 miles from home and everything is closed. I have my basic tool kits I carry. Help me tundras.com

EFI 2 is not showing voltage on either side of the relay. Possibly a bad EFI relay? EFI 1 is showing voltage. Where is EFI relay located?

Also tired putting battery voltage straight to efi2 fuse and didn't seem to help. But only tested for a minute

Just got back from the local dealer here with a working truck. EFI 2 fuse was blown. Turns out I was checking the wrong fuse (at 4am in the parking lot).

Likely cause was secondary pump electrical driver as both pumps are working fine.

Once that fuse goes it takes out the O2 sensors and MAF sensors.

No MAF sensor = limp mode.

$100 out the door. Cheap lesson. And a good reminder to double check you're looking at the correct fuse. My first hint should have been when I was looking at the wiring diagram and it showed a 10amp and I was testing a 5 amp :spending:

Thinking about it further and some more investigation I think the driver's side sensor 2 O2 sensor is the culprit. Replaced it a few months ago and had an issue 2 months later with it reporting zero voltage. Turned out some heat shield had rubbed through the wire insulation and shorted out the cable to ECU.

Well I think I may have rubbed again and combined with some moisture from driving through a storm shorted out the positive cable this time.

When I'm back in Tampa I'll have to remove the sensor and inspect the sensor wires and repair as needed. For now I added a few layers of electrical tape and it's reporting fine.
