    Front Lifts on Shocks
Just wanted to share with everyone my latest update mod on the Truck! When I purchased it the previous owner had already had the spacers installed on top of the front shocks, thus raising the front end of the truck. When I questioned the dealer about it I was told that a lot of people do it because the front end sits down pretty low without 'em. Well, to me the front end was sitting up higher than the rear and for some reason that just didn't sit well with me. After exploring my options I ordered the LOAD LIFTER 5000 ULTIMATE (Adjustable Air Helper Springs) along with the Air Lift Load Controller Kit (5 PSI Low Pressure Sensor(Single Gage)). Doing it myself and deciphering instructions written in code, and 7.5 hours later it was done. Now the rubber (canvas) looking air bags are not going to lift the back end like air shocks would but it did bring it up level with the front. The bags sit between the leaf springs and the frame of the truck where the upper shock mounts. The pressure is adjustable between 0-100 PSI and can be run with 0 PSI because the bags have internal jounce bumpers in them (you have to cut all but 3/4 of an inch off of the factory installed ones). At the gage I can raise and lower the pressure as necessary. The cost was around $350 total and it solved my problem and when I load it down on my upcoming trip then it'll really be put to the test. Overall I'm pleased with it.
