What’s the max lift height that I need if I have 18s on my truck?
I want to be able to lift the truck if without worrying if it will be high enough

Most 3 ton floor jack provide a 18-20 inches of lift which should be sufficient for your purposes as long as you don't have a lift and/or larger tires. If you do plan on lifting though, they do make "long reach" jacks and off road jacks that lift significantly higher for lifted vehicles.

I second harbor freight, I had a low profile Pittsburgh brand jack for years that worked great until I lifted my truck. Then I switched to their badlands offroad jack which is also awesome.

I, too, reluctantly got the Harbor Freight one (based on a lot of good reviews here and elsewhere) and have to agree, it has been solid.

I will advocate for the Daytona floor jack. Has raised anything from a Corolla to my Tundra no problem. I do nothing but abuse it.
Your question is better asked with tire size as opposed to rim size. I’ll get back once I upgrade my tire from stock to 34s.

Another Daytona 3ton low pro owner here. For the price, can't beat it. HF has a pretty cool purple one now too

I use the Daytona low profile long reach from HF, I did not reluctantly buy it and used a 25% off coupon I had. It is a superb floor jack.

With 34's and a 4/2 lift, I have to use the Badlands 3 ton offroad jack. My Craftsman wouldn't cut it.

Depends on where you want to lift from and what you're trying to do. Plus as another poster mentioned the tire size is more telling than the wheel size.

If you are lifting from under the rear axle or under the front LCA to get a tire off the ground it doesn't take much lift. If you want to lift from the frame to get the suspension fully extended and wheel(s)s off the ground you are talking a bunch more lift. My HF Daytona 3 ton jack plate is 20" off the floor when fully extended. It will lift the tires off the ground when placed under the rear diff or under the outer end of an LCA but it won't lift the wheels off the ground from a frame point without the use of blocks. Most jacks won't.

The Badlands 3 ton offroad will extend to 29 inches.

I'll jump in on the HF Daytona floor jack. I have a low pro, long reach, 3 ton. I also have the cross beam. That thing does amazing work in my garage. Love it!

Not my pic, but so you get the gist.

Damn, the 3 ton, low profile, super duty is $289 vs the Badlands at $319 in my neck of the woods.

    Somebody send me a coupon!

Would that cross beam attachment work on the frame rails for tire rotations?
