Anyone know of a good option for aluminum running boards for a 2020 crew cab. Not the crew max. I’ve seen a few options for the crew max but not the regular crew cab. I don’t want steel because the steel ones I have on it are already rusting. Stupid northern winters. Thanks In advance!

I think you mean the Double Cab. There are a couple different style of OEM running boards that are aluminum. There were a set on my truck when I bought it, and I first thought I would take them off. But I kind of like them. They have a great texture and worked well last winter and did not ice up. Plus I am cheap. Depending on where you are, you might be able to find a used set that someone replaced with sliders or other after market.

    Someting like this

Ah yes you are right. Double cab. And thanks I’ll see if any of those are available. Otherwise I have a can of Herculiner I might use on mine. Maybe get a few more years out of them.

Not sure where you are located, but in Canada Toyota offered these with the Double cab and Crewmax, this is my truck, and they are alloy board with steel brackets, it's pretty tough as I've slide on rocks with them before, some brackets are bent but still stay straight, you can find used set for about $200-300 on Kijiji.

Any idea where you saw the aluminum options for the crew max? lol I know it’s been a bit since you posted this, but I’m the exact opposite. Looking for aluminum ones for a crew max, but only found ones for a double cab lol
