My seat is becoming loose. It is starting to have quite a bit of play. It’s most noticeable at accelerating or braking (moving back and forth). Seems to be getting worse over time. I have a Limited with power seats. Anyone else experiencing this issue?

I did experience that. Dealer replaced the track set up. Seems fine many miles later. I am 6’4 240 so I know I put a good amount of stress on it. I noticed it more slightly when taking off sort of quick after coming to a stop

I noticed my driver seat today doing what you all describe. It just pops when I accel after hard decel. I even tried to move the seat a small amount thinking there might be a bad spot on the powered screw, but still does the pop thing. This will drive me crazy soon.

Alex 261, did you just tell the dealer about the seat and they changed the track? was there a TSB? Mine is going in for first service next week and I want them to do something about it.
Three times I felt it pop today.
    Thanks

This friggin moving seat is driving me crazy. Now seems to move every time I accelerate from a complete stop. Cannot believe just 2-3 of us are having this problem.

I've experienced this on mine as well. They tightened things up and it was good for a few months but is back again

big help to me. this TAS number will virtually tell the dealer what to do to fix the problem. Mine is going back in two weeks for the fuel fix, second fob and what ever else is on the recall list. I will take this to dealer tomorrow so they can get the seat track
Thank you very much for this.

seat related issue here but not necessarily loose.

Does anyone else feel like their driver seat is canted off-center?
If i sit flat against the back facing forward it feels as though my seat is shifted toward passenger, almost like it was installed incorrectly?
Am I crazy? anyone else have this issue/

at the dealer this morning. Now suddenly they know about the seat track problem. he wanted to know where I bought the truck, and I told him it was none of his business, but I did tell him it didnt come from their dealership as they have yet to have a new Tundra on their lot.
He said the truck had several things it needed:
    1. ECU upgrade for gas mileage (probably already want to put more limits on the performance)
    2. Electric Parking Brake software revision
    3. Fuel Line Protection Package
    4. Second key fob ordered and software modification
    6. Check wear on front tires, there is a new front suspension calibration already this year.
    7. Another cover or clamp on something else, but I did not know what he was talking about.
He said it would take a few days to get all the parts ordered and delivered. My Tundra is a Capstone, so dont know if all the above have to be done on all models.
Just glad to get the seat fixed.

It’s a lot of little stuff but your truck will be good to go. Personally I have no problem with all the little issues that have popped up as long as Toyota has the fix for it. Enjoy your sweet ride

I was gonna say. I had mine in yesterday had the fuel line fix done, they had one other recall to do, replaced my seat cover. All painless dealer does a great job never asks anything other then was your service good.

I just got a Certified Used Tundra...and had it delivered to my house. Right from my first drive on braking I noticed the driver's seat would tilt forward then tilt back when accelerating. Have no idea what the issues is, but wondering if anyone had a fix.

I may take it for warranty, but first wanted to see if there is a fix before the dealership tries to give me the usual "can't replicate" excuse.

    What is a TAS ?

Asking as my truck has the same issue, so was not sure if that TAS number you show is exclusive to your case, or if this is a general number Toyota tracks for this issue - like a recall notice?

Little update to the seat issue. After one of the service advisors had agreed to doing all the fixes (including the seat frame) two weeks ago I went there this morning just to see if there was any update.
Another advisor could not find any evidence I had been there two weeks ago. So she said she would order the key fob, fuel temporary fix, but could not do the seat frame until Toyota told her to do it. She did confirm as someone else had said previously the TAS # is specific to a vehicle vin. So I asked her what happened to the two week ago visit and she just remained silent. I should have immediately been on the earlier service person who promised everything and was standing next to us, but several people there and I played it cool. She said they would have to duplicate the seat moving issue to do anything. So I will call Toyota tomorrow and see what they say.
Long post so I will shut up for now, but will keep you updated.

I had the same issue on my CPO 2021 Tundra TRD Pro i just bought in November. Took it to a dealer and they replaced the frame assembly under the driver seat under warranty (fixed for now). They billed Toyota $1666, and said it would have been $1900ish if out of pocket. Part # 71120-0C331

Just an update - even after the part replacement, this issue has returned. It's slight/minor but still annoying.

At dealer now same issue drivers seat moves slightly left to right front to back with a small clunk that I can feel.

They said they can't detect anything wrong. I gave the the TAS number and said drive the truck. We'll see...
