I have read several times on this discussion forum when replacing the lower ball joints I'll also need new bolts. However, I haven't seen these bolts for sale on the OEM sale pages I've searched.

Can someone provide a link to those bolts?

    Thanks!

It depends on your year....easist might be to call Orisman or Serra tomorrow and they'll confirm the part number usung the VIN, or can look them up. This is a good read too.

Mine is a 2006 but I was thinking "just ask when I call Orisman."

Eager to get this project rolling....need to move the truck so I can mow the grass where I have it parked.

    This ^^

This sticky thread exists for a reason - a lot of times you can just search for a term in there and get the info you need, but as a new owner, you should read it anyway if you haven't, and reference it if you have.

Parts lookup info here, @ToyotaDude linked above too, I think.

But since you have an '06, it'll be the same as mine. If you buy the recall kit, it won't come with cotters or castle nuts. If you just buy the joint (left/right) directly, you get all the extras. Torque to 59lbft, use (at least) blue threadlock. I mark my bolt head position with a marker.

Just call a Toyota parts department, give them your VIN and ask what part number. I just went ahead and ordered them through the dealer. Around $30 for the 8 bolts.

FWIW I ordered my LBJ from ourisman 2 weeks ago and the bolts online. They reached out to me via email that I actually ordered the wrong bolts for my vin and offered to swap in the correct ones.
