I have a 19 Tundra TRD Pro w/ a 6” Readylift equipped, thus making it 8” total lift. I want to lower it to 4” to make it 6” total lift.

After reaching out to Readylift, they recommended me getting a rear 3” block and to put the factory front fox struts on to achieve this, however; I have icons 2.5 shocks on front and rear and don't have the stock struts anymore. After telling Readylift about my icons shocks, they said they weren’t sure because they're never tested Icon shocks.

Does anyone know what i need to do to drop down to a 4” lift?

Gonna need some pics. And I’m not sure you’ve actually got 8” of lift.

That would help. But why do you think your 6” is an 8”?

That’s only in the front. And only because of the Fox or Bilstein shocks. Once those are out, same as every other Tundra. So adding a 6” ready lift that removes the Fox shocks, nets you a 6” ready lift.

Which Icon coilovers do you have? I assume you have the longer ones made for a 6" lift kit. Just have them adjusted to drop the ride height down some.

What do your CV axles look like? I would lower it until the axles are almost flat and it should be around 4-5" lift. Then a 3" block in the back and a wheel alignment

I don't have an answer, but I love the idea of lowering that back down a few inches.

Holy lift blocks Batman! That rear setup is awful. How tall is that block?

Maybe i shouldve clarified, bought the truck like this, im not the original owner. Trying to figure it all out. Rear blocks looks like like anywhere from 4-6 inch, im gonna measure later when the rain stops.

Looks like a 4 or 5" block in the back. I'd replace it with a 3".

The coilovers are designed for a 6" lift kit, but they can be adjusted to drop the front some, maybe an inch or 1.5". You will need the tool to turn the jam nut which Icon probably sells on their website. You can youtube how to do it if you wanna try it yourself.

As far as current lift height goes I would guess it's around 6" in the front and 4-5" in the back over a regular Tundra.

A 5/16” punch works great to spin the collars. I bought the spanner and only ever use the back end.

I agree with @Half Assed, looks like you have plenty of thread to back off those collars and reduce the lift. There aren’t any shims or spacers on top of the coilover, right?

JFC… I just saw those. You’ll need a shorter spacer for those, but not exactly sure the geometry there.

Im gonna get the rear block measurement tomorrow. & Instead of dropping to 3” blocks, i think im gonna go CB +3 shackles (1.75” lift) and 1.25 block, probably add leafs in the future. Regardless, the humongous rear block needs to go. Whats yalls opinions on this?

As for the front, I will see if i can lower the struts at least 1-2 inches and ask readylift about the bump stops.. been a headache honestly :anonymous:

    Reporting back!

Rear blocks are 5”. So i guess im currently 6” lift then? If so, im gonna drop down to 4-5”.
