Lucas High Mileage Oil Stabilizer is a 100% petroleum product - developed in the laboratory and tested in the field for maximum reliability. The product is a specially blended formulation of premium base oils and petroleum extractives for use in a wide range of engine and gear box applications. Lucas High Mileage Oil Stabilizer is meant to be used as an additive to existing engine or transmission oils.

Maximum lubricity is achieved with a mix ratio of 20% Lucas High Mileage Oil Stabilizer to 80% engine / transmission oil. This mixture is much slicker than oil alone, reducing friction and heat to allow optimum mechanical efficiency. Lucas High Mileage Oil Stabilizer creates a coating that clings to metallic surfaces, eliminating dry starts that create the most damage and wear in an older engine. This product is for use in ALL engine-driven vehicles, and HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for recreational vehicles, farm equipment, industrial equipment as well as construction and military vehicles and equipment.

I guess if it makes you feel better. Otherwise you’re wastin’ your money.

Good oil/filter every 5k. The end.

    They say it
    • Raises oil pressure
    • Eliminates the noise, emissions and oil consumption associated with worn engine
My guess it is an oil thickener. Like the old STP. Something you do not want at start up. It may also cut your gas mileage. Toyota I beleived used a 0W20 oil. If you want, use a 5W-30.

I purchased my Corolla XRS with 125,000 miles. If your truck was well cared for with regular maintenance, then for a Toyota, that is not high mileage. You may want to consider a good synthetic oil for the future.

Whatever this forum told me to do
There are no circumstances, ever, that one would need to “add” anything to oil

lake speed jr did a wonderful video on oil additives

At most I would use the thinner pure synthetic or low viscosity version. In small ratios. Thick or sticky additives can clog up or inhibit flow to vital small orifices like the timing chain tensioners and such. There's a reason toyota specs a 0w20 for this motor, so just be cautious is all.
