Lunar Rock vinyl wrap

So I just bought a 24' Platinum with TRD off road package and can't for the life of me figure out why the designers think that putting a "dark chrome" mustache and grille is a good idea when the other trim is gloss black. I ended up finding a post on instagram of someone wrapping the mustache in a color matched vinyl.

So for anyone that needs color match vinyl wrap...here you go.

did you wrap the mustache to color matched, and how much(what size of the wrap) did you purchase?

 

I bought 2 yards of vinyl, haven't done it yet though. Too busy with work. It was around $165 shipped.

 

I just upgraded to my Tundra from a Tacoma and I wanna repeat the process of getting rid of all the TRD Off-road chrome. For some reason the lunar rock vinyl mentioned above doesn’t seem to exist anymore. Does anyone have any other ideas?

Woah, is shipping up there normally that high? Or is that standard if you buy a bigger roll of the vinyl?

 

It really depends on the company and who they use for shipping. I try to buy from companies that offer free shipping over a certain $$ amount. This colour wrap was hard to find. It’s still cheaper than an overlay or having it paint matched.

 

So I decided after ordering that I want to do paint instead of wrapping. I can’t return because I only ordered 2 yards of vinyl (the minimum for returns is 10). Is anybody in or near the WV, OH, or KY tristate area interested in buying the vinyl? I put it on marketplace for $75 but open to offers. It’s a 60” x 6’ roll still in the packaging, never even took the plastic off of it.
